1 About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FintaIQ collects, uses and protects information when you visit this website, use the Contact form, or otherwise get in touch with us. It applies to the FintaIQ marketing and informational website only, not to the FintaIQ desktop application or Dashboard, which are not yet publicly available.

2 Who operates this website

FintaIQ is a football-analysis software product currently in development. This website is operated by the FintaIQ project team based in Serbia. FintaIQ does not yet operate as a registered company, and this policy will be updated with formal registration and contact details once that step is complete.

3 Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us, primarily through the Contact form. Depending on what you enter, this can include your first and last name, work email address, phone number, club or organization, role, club or organization level, the area you're interested in (platform, match analysis service, or both), and anything you include in your message. Fields marked optional are never required to send an enquiry.

We also automatically receive limited technical information common to any website visit — such as your browser type, general device information, and standard server request logs — through our hosting and infrastructure providers.

4 How we use your information

We use the information you share to: respond to your enquiry; arrange a demo or introductory conversation if you request one; understand your club or organization and its requirements so we can respond usefully; provide the product information you asked for; keep a record of our communication with you; protect this website from abuse, spam and security threats; and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

5 Legal bases for processing

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent, where you have given it (for example, by submitting the Contact form); the steps needed, at your request, before potentially entering into a business relationship with you; our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and keeping this website secure and working correctly; and compliance with legal obligations that apply to us. We do not treat consent as the basis for every kind of processing described in this policy.

6 Contact form and demo requests

When you submit the Contact form, we use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to arrange a demo or follow-up conversation. Submitting an inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications. If we introduce marketing communications in the future, we will ask for separate consent and provide a clear way to unsubscribe at any time.

7 Cookies and analytics

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies of any kind. The only thing we store in your browser is a small, strictly necessary preference cookie (and a matching local-storage value) that remembers the language you selected, so the site loads in that language on your next visit. This preference is not used to identify you, track you across sites, or build a profile, and no separate consent banner is shown because no non-essential cookies are set.

8 Service providers

We may share limited information with service providers who help us run this website and respond to enquiries — for example, hosting and infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare. These providers only process information on our behalf and only to the extent needed to provide their service.

9 International data transfers

Because we use website hosting and infrastructure providers that operate internationally, information you submit may be processed in a country other than your own. Where this happens, we expect our providers to apply appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

10 How long we retain information

Contact and demo-request information is retained only for as long as necessary to respond to the inquiry and manage the potential business relationship. Unless a longer period is required for legal claims or compliance, inquiry records should normally be reviewed for deletion no later than 24 months after the last meaningful interaction.

Standard technical request logs generated by our hosting provider are retained according to that provider's own operational retention practices, which we have not independently set and do not control.

11 How we protect information

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us, including relying on reputable hosting and infrastructure providers and limiting access to enquiry information to the people who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12 Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to: access the information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; request that we restrict or object to certain processing; receive a copy of your information in a portable format where applicable; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the FintaIQ Contact page. We will respond to legitimate requests, though some rights may be subject to exceptions under applicable law — for example, where we need to keep certain information to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority, including, where applicable, the Serbian Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.

13 Children's privacy

This website and its Contact form are intended for professionals working in or around football — analysts, coaches and club staff — and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this website.

14 Third-party links

This website may link to third-party platforms, including our LinkedIn and Instagram pages. Those platforms have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing information with them.

15 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as this website, and FintaIQ itself, develop. We will update the "Last updated" date above whenever we make a change, and, where a change is significant, we will make that clear on this page.

16 How to contact us

FintaIQ does not yet have a dedicated privacy email address. For privacy-related questions or requests, contact us through the FintaIQ Contact page and clearly mark the message as "Privacy request."
